Oh my goodness, no I was not in a jalapeno eating contest. However, I’m intrigued. I can’t say that I would participate, but eating contests are fascinating.

Looks yummy—hey, that pineapple jicama slaw reminds me of a pretty tasty pineapple jalapeno salsa Whole Foods makes- they had it out the other day for sampling- the pineapple’s sweet and acid balances great with the hot jalapeno….were you in the jalapeno-eating contest at Cinco de Mayo that I read about?
